Job Description: Fundraising & Events Coordinator
Position: Fundraising Coordinator (Part-time)
Hours: 21 hrs. per week
Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives. This includes identifying potential funding sources, creating donor cultivation plans, and managing fundraising campaigns.

Events and Campaigns: Plan and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns to attract new donors and raise awareness about the organization’s cause. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote these events effectively.

Budget Management: Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and manage the fund development budget. Ensure efficient use of resources to maximize fundraising efforts.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and fundraising records using appropriate databases and tools. Analyze fundraising data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Board Engagement: Work closely with the Board of Directors to engage them in fundraising efforts, providing support, resources, and training as needed.
Qualifications & Core Competencies

Proven experience in Event planning and successful fundraising strategies for nonprofit organizations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and presentations.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Knowledge of fundraising best practices, and donor engagement strategies.

Familiarity with fundraising software and databases.

Passion for the organization’s mission and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
