Job Description: Fundraising & Events Coordinator
 

Position: Fundraising Coordinator (Part-time) 

Hours: 21 hrs. per week 


Responsibilities:  

 

  • Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives. This includes identifying potential funding sources, creating donor cultivation plans, and managing fundraising campaigns. 
     

  • Events and Campaigns: Plan and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns to attract new donors and raise awareness about the organization’s cause. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote these events effectively. 
     

  • Budget Management: Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and manage the fund development budget. Ensure efficient use of resources to maximize fundraising efforts. 
     

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and fundraising records using appropriate databases and tools. Analyze fundraising data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
     

  • Board Engagement: Work closely with the Board of Directors to engage them in fundraising efforts, providing support, resources, and training as needed. 


Qualifications & Core Competencies

 

  • Proven experience in Event planning and successful fundraising strategies for nonprofit organizations. 
     

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and presentations. 
     

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. 
     

  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices, and donor engagement strategies. 
     

  • Familiarity with fundraising software and databases. 
     

  • Passion for the organization’s mission and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
     

  • Demonstrated commitment to agree with and uphold the PCCGP’s Core Documents, Policies and Procedures.
